![]() ![]() Now: 3+ medium tanks if you can, or 2+ AT tanks if you're on the backfoot against the medium spam. Nobody wants to go for tank variety right now.įor example: A heavy tank + TD or medium + light tank, and then the rest of the army Currently it's medium spam and overwhelm. ![]() They would need to rework the timings and make the matches last longer if you want to see more tank variety. So far, CoH3 games last much shorter than the CoH2, and most of the time, nobody goes for the Tiger I. Normal tanks would have 40-45.Īnd of course, if they decide to add super heavies like the elefant, then they should not have more range than the TDs, like in CoH2 (60 firefly, 70 jagdtiger) and should have many more flaws (elefant and jagd had 0 problems in teamgames, they were sufficiently agile and had massive armour/hp/pen/damage, on maps which were extremely lane-y).Īnother thing. A tank like the Panther (AT tank) would then have 45 range. Heavy tanks should have the range of the tank hunters, and TDs should have 8-10 more range. ![]() They need to rework the tank range combat. ![]() So Heavies can be used against anything in range, but are expensive to compensate for the armour/HP/damage/penetration/AOE and arrive late. TDs have higher range and good penetration. So far, Tiger I has the same range as the Hellcat, meaning the TD can't counter a heavy tank. However, there is another thing that needs addressing, and it's the tank ranges. It would be a shame if they didn't experiment with different USF heavy tanks which were designed and built, but weren't shipped over to Europe. Purists and no-lifers (couch generals) usually complain about the BP and stuff like that, but it is a nice addition to the MP part of the game. It's nice that they do not limit themselves solely on the tanks that were actively used. There are other heavy tanks USF could get through BGs. ![]()
